Exactly what I needed - the pivot ability was the key functionality required.Easy to install, great templates and instructions. My TV didn't have the VESA compliance match so I purchased VESA extension to ensure I could use the mount. Basically the 90В° pivot means we can store the TV horizontally when not being used so our ocean views aren't impacted.Perfect !

If you are in the U.S. you will realize that the wall "stud" install instruction will not work because the studs are nominal 2x4, which is usually 1.5"x3.5". Also, the provided screws are way too long at 3.5".But you'll notice that the template has a top and bottom center holes as well, which you can use. Furthermore, the wall mounting bracket actually has a third center hole in the middle. So get three 5/16"x2.5" (or 3") lag screws from the hardware store and use the center holes to mount.

I needed a bracket that would rotate my TV screen 90 Deg. to view videos that were shot in a vertical format, yet be able to be rotated back to horizontal for standard veiwing. Not easy to find, but worth the search. The first one I purchased worked so well with my 55" screen, I later purchased a second for my 43". If you want to view photos and home videos in a vertical format without crops, I highly recommend you purchase this bracket.
